Sylvain Descoteaux is an entrepreneur and an expert in logistics of tour shows. He is founder and owner of myWORLDdmc, a highly dynamic and experienced driven New York City Destination Management Company.  Born in Canada, Sylvain has cumulated over 20 years of experience in production management of corporate, theatrical, and TV events; as well as in sales, marketing, and operations of hotels & corporate housing sites.

Prior to founding myWORLDdmc, Sylvain began his career in Paris working for a subsidiary of a major European exposition service contractor: Melville Exhibition & Event Services. Later, he moved on to join the French production team of Surprise Sur Prise, a Canadian hidden camera/ practical jokes TV series. Sylvain moved back to Canada four years later only to hit the road again as Director of Pre-production for the famed Cirque du Soleil. He planned the operations and the logistics of 4 show tours including Saltimbanco, Alegria, Quidam and Dralion in major cities throughout North America.

Sylvain entered the hospitality industry as Account Executive for Marriott Execustay. During his 7-year career, he worked for 3 different providers (Marriott, Drake Corporate Housing, Hotel AKA) and held a series of positions with increasing responsibility (Director of Sales, Assistant general Manager, General Manager).

Since the opening of myWORLDdmc in 2008, Sylvain’s team has partnered with several companies to facilitate the success of their operations on the road.

Director of Operations

Karine Wong has been associated with myWORLDdmc since the company's' inception. Karine began her career in France as a radio anchor and a reporter and moved to NY in 1993. She has been instrumental throughout the early development of the company developing systems and procedures required to operate efficiently and effectively. Utilizing her background in management and festival production, Karine brings a whole new level of organization to the company insuring that the team has the information and tools required to ensure maximum productivity.

Karine is responsible for the oversight of all of the administrative functions for our team.

Account Executive

Roseline Jordan began her career in Central London as a French Speaking Customer Service Agent for a leading inbound travel company. In 2002, Roseline joined the sales team of Accor Hotels as an Account Executive. There she successfully secured a series of strategic corporate accounts and regional travel firms based in the Greater London area.
Roseline entered the entertainment industry as a Production Assistant for The Opera National of Paris. During her 10-year career, she lived in various cities in Europe and North America where she held a series of positions in entertainment and travel management industry.
